Why choose Clarke & Co.?

It doesn't matter if you use software, spreadsheets or manual bookkeeping - in fact, even if you don't complete any bookkeeping then this is not a problem! As long as you have all your purchase receipts (for any repairs), your monthly or annual letting statement(s) if you use an agency and bank statements then we can do the rest.

Many clients email across the information required to complete the accounts (along with downloaded bank statements) and this all saves time. However, we can visit you at your home, at a time that suits you (including evenings) to pick up the paperwork or you can simple drop it off when passing. As we work from home, this includes outside of normal office hours.


Accountancy Fees

We try to keep our fees as low as possible. We start from £250 for the completion of one set of rental accounts and the subsequent Tax Return. Once we know exactly what is involved (number of properties, joint or sole ownership) then we will let you know exactly how much our fees will be in advance of starting the work - so there won't be any shocks! We offer free bookkeeping spreadsheets with free training to anyone who wishes to do their own bookkeeping - which means our price will be the minimum £250. If you don't wish to complete spreadsheets, we can still advise you on how to make our costs as low as possible - the quicker we can complete the work then the lower the price for you!
